Alison Duffell was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. In 2008 she graduated from Kine Concept Institute of Massage and Research and later that year became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
After practicing in Ottawa for several years she moved to Alberta to continue her career. While in Alberta, she sparked an interest in energy work and studied to become a Reiki Master.
Alison has completed many continuing education courses including Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Gua Sha, Massage Cupping, Advanced Pre-Natal to name a few. She also has a love of essential oils and crystals.
Alison’s life long dream has been to open her own business but never felt like the timing was right. Always following her heart Alison moved to Corner Brook, NL where she continued to work as a registered massage therapist and built her family. Alison loves the art of healing, art and crafts, cooking & food, and spending time with her husband and their two boys (who she is immensely proud of).
In 2020 she founded Meridian, envisioning a place where she and her colleagues could be creative and find their niche, while guiding clients on their own unique path to wellness. She is excited for the evolution of Meridian and feels that it would not have been possible without the support and hard work of her loving husband as well as her family, friends and coworkers!
Alison is looking forward to meeting you along your path to wellness!
